Makovicka Physical Therapy partnered with the Saint Roberts Bellarmine parish to help in many different ways. During COVID staff helped clean the church and Mainelli Center as well as helping in the church office. The staff has made presentations to Circle groups and the staff of the Early Learning Center. Makovicka Physical Therapy sponsored and staffed a table at the golf tournament in 2020.
Additionally, Makovicka PT staff has helped extensively with grounds clean up in the Arboretum (did you know the church grounds are an accredited arboretum with the mission to sustain a thriving diverse landscape that educates and inspires?). Many staff, including the company president, Joel Makovicka, have helped with Mulch Day, cutting bushes, clearing leaves, and more.
For the past two years, Makovicka Physical Therapy staff from the 119th Street clinic (directly south of the church and school) watered the flowers several times a week during the spring, summer, and fall. The company proudly supports the communities where clinics are located, and Saint Roberts is a natural connection for the staff. Here are a few photos of the involvement in a few short years.
