For the second time in the past four months, Makovicka Physical Therapy staff partnered with Keep Cass County Beautiful. The group of five employees, including staff from the Makovicka PT corporate office and the Plattsmouth clinic, spent a few hours picking up trash in their ‘Adopt-a-Spot’ which runs from Oak Hills Road to 1st Avenue (west of Hwy 75), near their Plattsmouth clinic.   Keep Cass County Beautiful’s mission is to inspire and educate individuals to take daily actions to improve and beautify their community environment. Thanks to the Free Trees for Fall Planting program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service, and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, the Gretna Arbor Foundation received trees to plant in Leo Royal Park on Saturday, October 2nd. A team of volunteers from various Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics helped the Gretna Arbor Foundation plant the trees.

We were thrilled last winter when our staff, patients, and owners donated 13,877 diapers in 2019. Fast forward to 2020, and we MORE than doubled the number of diapers collected and distributed! We are overwhelmed with the generosity and support shown by all involved, particularly in a year as challenging as we've had.   The thirteen Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics located in Douglas, Sarpy, and Cass counties participated in the 18th annual Channel 94.1 Diaper Drive. All nineteen Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics are collecting diapers for the holidays as part of the Makovicka Cares! program. All size diapers are needed but sizes 4, 5, and 6 are needed the most.
