All seventeen Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics collected diapers for the holidays as part of the Makovicka Cares! program and a total of 13,877 diapers were donated. The eleven Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics located in Douglas, Sarpy, and Cass counties participated in the 17th annual Channel 94.1 Diaper Drive. The 11,446 diapers collected at Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics were transported to the Hy-Vee at Linden Market on Friday, December 13th. All seventeen Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics will be collecting diapers for the holidays as part of the Makovicka Cares! program. Diapers are needed in all sizes, but size 4, 5, and 6 are needed the most. Diapers may be dropped off at any of the Makovicka clinics between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our employee-driven Makovicka Cares! program is proud to support the Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon Club. On August 1st, Chief Operating Officer, Josh Richling and Director of Practice Management, Lauren Watson attended the weekly training session to present a $500 check. In addition, Makovicka Physical Therapy was a Programming Sponsor and provided athletic trainers each week during the 8 training sessions, and for the event. Makovicka Physical Therapy recently partnered with Bike Masters Cycling to offer a Concierge Bike Fit service not found anywhere in the metro Omaha or Lincoln area. The closest comparable bike fit is in Des Moines. Bike Masters Cycling moved its shop in mid-April from 132nd & Fort to 210 Cumberland Drive in Elkhorn. Concierge Bike Fits will utilize 3D motion capture technology using the Specialized Retul system, which accurately measures every degree of movement and millimeter of distance, providing the cyclist and fitter with the data to support the choices...

The photo doesn't begin to show the massive amount of soap, diapers, shampoo, conditioner, and more to the Community Action Partnership facility in west downtown Lincoln today. The Community Action staff was over the moon with the many boxes we carted in. In addition to that, we gave a $650 donation to the agency! The excitement was so fun to see and experience.
